I love the Make It Now feature in Cricut’s Design Space. It is such a saving grace when I’m having bouts of creativity-loss. When you buy a machine through Cricut, they gift you with exclusive access to certain Make It Now projects. When they released the new Cricut Maker, they included 50 free projects to get you started. The project I have chosen is the Bridesmaid Invitation and the bachelorette Party Kisses and Diamonds straw and donut toppers.Use the Cricut Maker free projects to create a Bachelorette PartyThese invitations are the perfect way to ask your best girlfriends to be a bridesmaid and they straw and donut toppers are the perfect accent to a bachelorette party.Use the Cricut Maker free projects to create a Bachelorette Party

Supplies

Use the Cricut Maker free projects to create a Bachelorette PartyBegin with printing your invitation on your printer. I use a 60lb cardstock from Michaels and it’s perfect for my HP Printer. Anything too thick will not pull through. Once you have your file printed, place it on your mat and load it in the Cricut Maker. It will read the registration marks and begin cutting and scoring. Unload your mat.Use the Cricut Maker free projects to create a Bachelorette PartyLoad your black pen into the Cricut Maker (this was included) and your regular cardstock and cut your envelope, small card and your Bride Tribe symbol. You can use black cardstock or vinyl as well but the pen is easier for me. I did color in the edges to fill in the writing.Use the Cricut Maker free projects to create a Bachelorette PartyAdd your glittered cardstock to the mat and cut the envelope insert, invitation back and small card.

You’ll then print off your tattoo paper images and add that to the mat. The sensors on the Cricut Maker are better than the Explore so these will cut. Place them into your small insert for the card as a special surprise for your friends.Use the Cricut Maker free projects to create a Bachelorette PartyTo assemble these, add your larger pink glitter square to the inside of the envelope. Next fold in your edges and place a small amount of adhesive to the sides of the envelope and place the end on the adhesive. The printed invitation will now be placed on the smaller glitter cardstock so that the color will peak through the holes your Cricut Maker created. Place some adhesive on the small squares and adhere them together. Place your tattoo inserts behind the square and adhere it to the invitation.Use the Cricut Maker free projects to create a Bachelorette PartyFor the straw and donut toppers, cut your white background first, then the standard cardstock and last, the pink glitter cardstock for the lips. Adhere your diamond tops to the bottoms and place them in your donuts. For the lips, there are two slits cut in it and you just thread your straw through there.Use the Cricut Maker free projects to create a Bachelorette PartyWant to check out the other 49 FREE projects included with your Cricut Maker?!
