Start by uploading the cut file into Design Space. You can find an easy tutorial here. It’s relatively easy and it’ll be saved to your Design Space files forever!When cutting the luster finish of Expressions Vinyl, it can be a little thick. Use the iron-on + setting on your Smart Dial and cut once. While your vinyl is still adhered to the mat, weed your image. The thinner the letters, the harder the removal is but if you go slowly, it can be done. Lay your transfer tape over your weeded image and press firmly with your scraper tool.Once the image is transferred, lay it on to your tumbler and voila, you’re finished. You can pretend your Shelley Long doing the Freddy on your front lawn. 😉

My very favorite popsicle growing up was a creamsicle. With the tart orange flavor paired with the smooth vanilla custard, it was heaven for me while I sat on my porch in Beaverton, Oregon. But now I can make my very own homemade creamsicles! It was so easy and they’re delicious.

tangerine juice (I bought mine at Trader Joe’s but you can use Natalie’s) *they make TJ’s juice, FYI)
Bring back childhood summer memories with this updated classic, homemade Creamsicles. Your life will never be the same.

Mix all ingredients in a spouted bowl. Pour into popsicle molds and add the sticks.
Freeze for at least 4 hours until set. Run the mold until warm water to help release the creamsicle. Enjoy.
Nothing makes me enjoy summer more than telling my kids to grab a popsicle and go outside to enjoy the sun. I know what is exactly in these homemade creamsicles and I feel good about giving them to my kids.
I don’t go super crazy because of the high cream content but these are something that they can enjoy because it’s something that they put the effort in to and now they’re enjoying the fruits. The rage all over Utah are these soda bars that can customize any soda. They’ve got all the syrups, creams and citrus you can imagine. Inspired by this idea I knew immediately that I wanted to use Squirt® for my own creation. I also wanted to use orange flavoring because I love pairing citrus flavors together.
To start, head over to Target and grab some Squirt®, heavy cream and some orange syrup. Now, you’ll want to add some ice to your cups about half full and add a tablespoon of orange syrup. I used 12oz. cups so adjust your recipe if you have larger or smaller vessels.
Next, you’ll pour enough Squirt® to equate to 1″ below the glass rim.
Now add 2 tablespoons of your cream and stir. This amount of cream definitely gives you a creamier taste, go ahead and use half and half for it to be a little better on your waistline.

I am a huge fan of Italian sodas. I don’t usually do whipping cream whipped on top, I just pour half and half. However, if you’re waiting to have a beautiful piece of art work to treat someone, WHIP THE CREAM! It’s my go to drink at the coffee shop but at $3 a pop, I’d rather save me some cash and make them at home. Here is a great recipe using Canada Dry Ginger Ale®. Raspberry Flavor Syrup
Take a 12 oz. cup and fill it with some ice. Use 1 Tbsp of raspberry flavor syrup and 1 1/4 cup Original Canada Dry Ginger Ale® and mix. Either pour the cream directly into the cup or whip the cream and add it to the top.

So since I’m pretty new to this blog thang, I’m learning the etiquette as I go. Go figure. Angel has been fab-u-lous! I’m a food contributor on her site and it’s been a lot of fun. I’ve been able to really push myself and think of combinations that I never thought of beforehand. I’ve got some awesome cookies planned for next month that sound delicious in my head so I’m crossing my legs they work 😉 Today I’m there with this Cheesy Broccoli Chicken Casserole that is a staple in our home. It’s pretty much a classic Mormon recipe but I make mine a bit different that makes it super creamy, see it here.
Last month was a favorite recipe of mine, it’s a Cookie Butter Hazelnut Shake and it is as delicious as it sounds. O.M.G. You have to try it and even though it’s a shake, it’s really perfect for this Fall season! Check that out here and leave Angel some love cause she’s got some great patterns!
If there is something that I indulge in, it’s my drinks. I’m a sucker for specialty drinks. Lime Rickeys, Dirty Diet Cokes, Shirley Temples, and now a new one, Creamy Coco-Colas. You can make these using standard or Diet Coca-Cola or Pepsi, which ever floats your boat. It is delish-ish-ous!
So there are only three things you’ll need to get this treat in your hand, four if you count the glass, but those are overrated! Grab your fav dark soda, coconut syrup, and some heavy cream. If you’re watching your waistline you can go for the half & half, but I just go for it. I’m already to the breaking point here, so I’m going all in.
First, add your ice. Pebble ice is always preferred in drinks but really, it’s just a personal preference on how much you want in the first place. The ice will melt, meaning your drink will eventually separate if you don’t drink it fast enough. Pebble ice is nice because it won’t be a huge amount of water into your soda. I also really like styrofoam cups but they aren’t very pretty.
Next, for a 16 oz. cup like this one, you’ll want to do about 1-1 1/2 pumps of your syrup and then add your soda and stir. Add your cream at the very end. I added about 2 teaspoons and it was plenty. The more cream you add, it’ll be on the border of a root beer float. That is also another variation of this drink you can do but without the syrup! In the pictures I did not stir it because it gives a prettier effect. When you stir it, it will turn a lighter brown and be one of the best drinks EVER! I tend to think that a lot on my recipes!
